Eater's March 2026 bagel map includes it with a two-line entry that says only that it opened in 1976 and makes "enormous bagels," while writing at length about places like Apollo and Bagels on the Square. Its busiest branch sits at 4.1 from 4,888 Google reviews, the lowest bagel score here. It's also nowhere near your route, and Russ & Daughters is the better version of that morning anyway. If she eats fish, not meat: Los Tacos No. 1's full menu is carne asada, pollo asado, adobada and nopal — checked against their own menu page, and there is no fish, shrimp or plant-based option anywhere on it. Nopal (grilled cactus) is her only choice there, or the $12 Nopal Plate. Los Mariscos in Chelsea Market is the seafood one, same team, and Tacombi does a crispy fish taco. On Kijitora: only the E 14th St branch is in Manhattan. The better-rated ones are across the river in Williamsburg — 578 Driggs Ave at 4.4 (329) and 309 Graham Ave at 4.4 (184) — so they are a Brooklyn trip, not a detour. Hours are the everyday hours Google lists; a few places run shorter hours on Sunday, so check the card before a special trip. Where a review count is missing, Google was serving its limited view and only the rating came through.
